Biography

Twenty years of living around the world as a military wife honed my abilities to adapt to rapidly changing situations, analyze and plan on the fly, effectively interact with people at various levels and with different perspectives. These 'people person street smarts' and my desire to help people find their 'place to bloom' are the factors which drew me to a Real Estate career after working as a dental hygienist for 20 years. My career change to Real Estate in 2001 and my desire to develop my own self-reliant business plan, have been positive life changing events for me. I feel that I have found my niche and continue to take courses to expand my expertise. My experiences as a mother, grandmother, volunteer and civic leader have rounded out my ability to empathize with and evaluate individual and collective needs. Those skills developed through years of experience and dedication make me a more effective Real Estate Professional.

Biography

Having been been a proud resident of Sherman for over 20 years. Being a part of this community is what fills my cup. I have been happily married for many years and have three boys spanning from elementary school to high school. When I have leisure time, traveling, music and exploring the many events and activities that North Texas has to offer brings me to my happy place.

Beyond my personal pursuits, I actively contribute to the community by serving on many local boards. I am a director for Goodwill of North Texas, The Sherman Museum and the Sherman Main Street Advisory Board. I am also the 2024 treasurer for The Greater Texoma Association of REALTORS, and hold the position of president at the Fairview Elementary PTA. Additionally, I play a role on various committees for both local and state REALTOR® associations. I was also involved in the planning and election committees for the 2023 Sherman ISD facilities bond.

To me, being a REALTOR® means being knowledgeable and involved in the areas I work and issues related to property ownership. I take pride in that, and as such have completed multiple designations including the Texas REALTORS Leadership Program. I also am very involved in TREPAC, which advocates for Texas property owners rights.
