Ken Taylor

President   

Ken has been an agent with Virginia Cook, REALTORS® for 4 ½ years. He earned his GRI designation in 2008 and is currently serving on the community service and education committees. He was elected to the GTAR Board in 2009 as a director and in 2010 as the secretary. Ken was selected the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors “Realtor of the Year’ in 2008. Kens roots are from the Tom Bean area. He and his wife Bobbi have two children and four grandchildren. After working at Fisher Controls for 18 years, Ken worked in the International Exchange Industry for 9 years as a director for Youth For Understanding International Exchange and AFS Intercultural Programs. He and his family have hosted 20 international exchange students.

Darla Thompson

President Elect

Darla has been an agent with Ebby Halliday Realtors since November, 2004. She was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2005 and was appointed as the Rookie Appointee to the Board of Directors that same year. Since then, she has earned her GRI designation and has served the Board of Directors for three additional years, 2 as a board Director and currently as President Elect. Darla has been a life long resident of the Sherman/Denison area and currently resides in Denison with her husband, James and her two daughters, Mackenzie and Aubyn.

Stacey Olmstead

Ex Officio

Stacey  received her real estate license in 2000 and joined Virginia Cook REALTORS® in 2009. She has been an active member for the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors since 2000. In 2004 she was appointed, and subsequently elected, to the Board of Directors where she served for three years. Since then, she was elected as Treasurer and Secretary of the Association. In addition, she is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors. Stacey resides in Sherman with her husband, Andrew and her two daughters, Michal and Brett.
